Birthday cake!

ok everyone!

apparently, the whole budget thing for the birthday cakes got messed up.

so, heres what happened:

the when the adult people were planning the budget for the non adult people, they didnt plan for birthday cakes because they thought that the HOT people alreaddy had cake so dont need two right?

But then the HOT people decided not to have cake also so now theres zero budget for the cake.

So the good news is that we went and told pastor jasper

the bad news is that pastor jasper said that we have to raise money for the cake from now on...

but the good news is that he said for every dollar we raised he would add another dollar from himself!

the bad news is that he will only add a maximum of $20

The good news is taht cakes dont usually cost more then $20 times 2 =$40!

ok so i dont know how we're going to do this..

how bout if you wanna donate for the cake, then you give to treasurer (david)

uhm, upstairs at HOT, the old people are going to start the 40 days thing

starts this wednesday, ash wednesday.

So my Pastor Jasper thinks its a good idea if we all also fast from something...

not food cause its "not good for us"

so something else, like psp, games, chocolate, coffee,BASKETBALL

computer, telephone, TV, air con, PET SOCIETY

singlish, sms-es, spending money, studying, school, cake, tea, coke

so ya, THOSE ARE JUST EXAMPLES!

you can fast on amything you want, just start on wednesday and go all the was to easter =P

David thinks you can take breaks on sunday

one more thing,

this wednesday theres synchrronised prayer at 9.30pm

There's an informal outing to Rachel's house.
Her house is at Punggol, or however you spell it, just so you know.

Anyway, after going to it, we'll go to church.

Yap finally decided that we are going over to rachels house next week on sunday!

Ok i just thought that maybe you all wouldnt read the announcements thing (like me XD) and dont know the latest VERY IMPORTANT news.

on the 24th (this saturday) only a few people need to come for the bible study (the 3pm one, i always get mixed up), basically the newer people. The people who need to go:

So remember, come at 3. If your names not here but you still want to go be my guest. John will be going through chapter one again i think. Please remember to come at 5 for those who are not involved.
